| Frequently Asked
Questions |
Q.
Can you give me a quotation over the phone?
A. We can give an indication; the price will
depend on the granite chosen, edge finish, any cut outs for
hob, sink and draining grooves etc. We would prefer to give
an estimate off a kitchen plan. A more concise figure will be
given after templating when we can take into account any anomalies
and variations.
Q. Can I use my existing units?
A. Yes it can be cheaper to just revamp the
tops as opposed to the whole kitchen.
Q. Can I see the granite?
A. Yes, you are more than welcome to see our
range of granite in stock as you can get a much better picture
of the colours available. Samples are available for you to take
home as we feel this is the best way to try the real thing against
your units and lighting.
Q. Will I be able to see the joints?
A. Yes, but we will try to minimise this and
used coloured resins to match the granite.
Q. Can you work to a measurement?
A. Yes, if you are confident, but we prefer
to work to a template.
Q. Do I need to be there for the templater/fitter?
A. Yes or certainly the kitchen fitter, as
there is often details we need to ask.
Q. Will you plumb in the sink/taps/hob?
A. I’m afraid not, please contact your
plumber/electrician.
Q. Will you fix the bowls in place?
A. Yes we will ensure that your bowls are
safely fixed ready for the plumber.
Q. What needs to be there for templating?
A. All the base units need to be in place
and all the fixtures and fittings need to be available.
Q. Can I add to my tops at
a later date?
A. Yes, but because granite is a natural
material we can not guarantee a perfect colour match.
